Day 6 in the mountains

We woke up this morning and the kids were instantly going 150 MPH. They were chasing each other all over the house and laughing, laughing, laughing. They kept running down this hall and must have had to take a breather at this point.
To get some the energy out of these two we went back to Lake Junaluska to feed the ducks and let the kids run around.
Cole observing the ducks
There were obviously a ton of ducks who went crazy over the breadLook at this adorable duck hunter
She is fearless and decided to run into a flock of Canadian Geese and chase them.
Once they were out of their strollers, they were off.....
We met these two at our stop to let the kids get out and run around. We never fed them anything, yet they followed us around the lake for about 30 minutes. It was so funny. We got home and the kids took naps and then they took a walk to the creek. Courtnie and I had run out for a bit so we met them at the creek and then all came home for a piano recital.
Everyone ready for us to begin?
They were playing Korsakov's "Flight of the bumblebee"
And they are finished! After the recital they decided to take a dip in the pool. The water was from the hose which is freezing creek water so we continued to bring out hot water to try to raise the temperature of the pool water as much as possible. I don't think it helped but the kids didn't seem to phased by the cold water.
We found that soccer ball in the creek. What a great find.
Cutie in the bath.
Devenney has a baby doll that Cole, as you will see, has taken quite the liking to.

And I think he is finally crashing for the day!
