Cole's Beach Weekend

We had a great weekend. Even with the extreme weather that came our way over the weekend we opted to head to St. George Island and as crazy as it seemed on Saturday, Sunday made the weekend. It was beautiful and I am glad we made the journey. We went down and stayed with Katie, Jay, Cole, Karie Jane and Francesca and just had a great time. Cole enjoyed the beach, he walked up and down the dunes, dug in the sand but the minute we took off his shoes and socks, up went the feet and he would not stand up on the beach. He is NOT a fan of bare feet on the beach. I am, Brian's not, so my guess is he takes after his father on this one. :)

With Sunday as beautiful as Saturday, we had to get back out in the yard on Sunday. Here are a few friends that stopped by to play.

Also, last night (Monday) we got to play with Suzanna for a bit and here are a few pictures from the evening. I can totally relate to anyone who has twin 18 month olds. Very fun but WOW.....Double trouble. They (Cole and Suzanna) took a bath together and they had a blast. He kept calling her "Nana".

Weekend Fun

Once again it was a beautiful weekend in Tallahassee. Saturday morning we ran out to have breakfast and we decided that Cole needed his hair cut a little more than the butchering job I had done on it about a month ago. So Cole and Brian both hit the barber shop for a cut. Dawn was in charge of Cole and he did awesome. He just sat there and let her cut away. Of course the battery on my camera was dead so this was what I was able to get with my phone!

Then we headed (Cole, Amy and I) downtown to the Mary Brogan Museum and enjoyed lunch at 101. Back to the house for a nap and then some friends came by to play.

We had a great weekend and not too much to report other than Cole's top molars are cutting through his gums now and he is 150% obsessed with balls. We hear the word "ball" constantly. Here are a few recent pictures.

I stopped by Creative one day last week during the day and while I was there, I went to peek in on Cole to see how his day was going. I arrived right after all the kids came in from outdoor play so they were all red-cheeked and sweaty and quite dirty. After they all get cleaned up they all sit down at the table and lunch is brought into them after they have a seat. Well, Cole apparently knows the drill and better steer clear. As I watched, he was put down after his hands were clean, he took off running across the room, took out a little girl in his class (sorry Gail but you'd think you'd know by now he'll take you out) who was in his path, jumped up into his chair and started clapping his hands. I think he was ready for lunch.

Over the weekend

We had such a busy and fun weekend. Todd, Carly, Brody and Wade came to visit. Saturday was beautiful outside so we decided to have people over to enjoy the sunny and warm weather. Here are a couple friends that stopped by:
