Mac N Cheese Buffet

Cole had such a great weekend. Friday Gram and Granddaddy picked him up from school and he spent the night with them. I am still trying to figure out their "trick." Somehow the grandkids sleep in to ridiculous times over there. He slept until 8:20 at their house on Saturday and we even kept him up later than usual on Saturday night but he was up around 6:30 on Sunday. Anyways, thank you for keeping him, it is enjoyable for all.

Saturday we took Bill and Sandy to Cole's and my new favorite place, Tijuana Flats, for lunch. Cole would eat nothing from me but sure seemed to love the exact same thing that Granddaddy had. Stinker! After a nice long nap, we went to celebrate Gavin Rudd's 3rd Birthday. And then to Rummy's to continue Katie's 29th, again, celebration. Cole loves being around other children and they do a good job of entertaining him as well.

Sunday we as well as Bill, Michele, Sydney and Cody loaded up to go and visit Mimi and Pops in Quitman. We had a nice lunch with them at an all you can eat macaroni and cheese buffet (since that is all he would eat, and I understand why, it was good). Then we went back to Mimi and Pops and played on the playground next to their house for a bit. The kids had a great time as you can see below!
I just love this little face!

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter Everyone! We went down south for the holiday weekend and our first stop was in Orlando. Brian found a park while running so we took Cole there to play. He got to swing, walk the nature walk to the lake, play on the soccer and baseball fields and finally end at the slides.

We then had a mock easter egg hunt to make sure he understood the process. He was a natural and loved it. Here are a few pictures we took playing around in the yard.

He obviously discovered alternate uses for the easter basket, a "hat hat."

As the sun was setting mom and I took Cole out back on the golf course and I love how the sunset hits his face in these pictures.

Easter Morning

After an Easter egg hunt at "Emmy and Papa's", off to "Granny and PePaw's" we went. I absolutely love his expression in this picture.

I suppose since he was vacationing all weekend he needed to get some work done. He probably traded millions in stocks on the way home. As you can see in the last photo, I tried to talk to him while he was on an important call.

It was a wonderful weekend and we had such a great time visiting with everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful a time as we did!!!!!!!!!

Cole home "sick"

Cole was sent home today at 8:30 for throwing up. I had barely been at work before the dreaded call. However, I was able to head out and go pick him up. My suspicion was that he was fine, just that he had probably choked on post-nasal drip. But being the rule follower I am, I went to get him. I had forgotten something at my office so I was able to show him off a bit at work. That was fun. Once we got home I realized I did not have a sick child on my hands but one that was ready to play, so I put him to work. We cleaned out the dining room and turned it back into a dining room, which for those of you who have seen my dining room, you will be amazed. Here is a picture of Cole being oh so helpful.

After some cleaning, we took a break for lunch. Cole was eating as I prepared my lunch and I heard him asking for more. I then realized he wanted more hot dog. So I cut him up some, took it over to him, put it on his plate and I sat down to eat. I didn't realize that he was zoning out and obviously getting a little sleepy until I looked over and saw this.

Needless to say, off to bed he went and once he woke up it was back to dancing, cleaning and playing.

Surprise Visitors

Once again, it was a nice weekend fortunately after what seemed to be endless rainy weather in Tallahassee. On Saturday afternoon, the Garber's got surprise visitors. My mom and step-dad were traveling back from NC and decided to get off in Tifton to come visit for the night. Although they were barely in town 12 hours, they did get a chance to visit with Cole. Below are a few pictures from their visit.

I call this Cole's "The Scream" face as you may see why from the next picture.
Then Cole wasn't quite ready for his nap so I bravely loaded him up for a trip to Publix. To keep him occupied at Publix he had a cookie, deli meat and a balloon. All were crucial for the grocery trip to be a success! He then didn't let go of the balloon for most of the afternoon.
